After Vice President Vance’s visit to South Texas yesterday, President Trump is set to visit Denton, Texas, today. The President is set to tour the Peterbilt Motors factory there. This, of course, follows his fundraising visit to Houston and the GOP midterm convention in Dallas last month.

This is all part of a pre-election campaign push by the President and his team. Robert Kraft with the RNC explained: “This is just President Trump kicking off what is going to be a storming of the country. Going to all the critical battlegrounds over the next 31 days, right up until Election Day.”

Kraft went on to say that he believes this will help make up for the head start on campaigning that Democratic nominee James Talarico had over Republican Senate nominee Ken Paxton, who was delayed by an intense primary runoff.

According to Kraft: “James Talarico had about a 3-month head start, but the Republican cavalry has started to arrive. The Republicans have started to fight back, Ken Paxton is starting to pull ahead, and we feel really good about this race.”

He added that he believes the administration’s continued appearances in Texas are a sign of how much value they place in the state, not a sign of weakness.
