A San Antonio man is accused of secretly recording his girlfriend’s friend while she was changing clothes in his bedroom.

Dylan James Apolinar, 24, is charged with invasive visual recording, a state jail felony.

He posted a $25,000 bond and was released Tuesday from the Bexar County Jail.

The incident occurred Feb. 20, when Apolinar’s girlfriend and her friend were trying on clothes before going out for the night, according to an arrest affidavit.

The friend told police that only the two women were in Apolinar’s bedroom and that the door was locked while they changed clothes.

On May 13, Apolinar’s girlfriend sent the woman videos and images that had been recovered from Apolinar’s phone. According to the arrest affidavit, the videos showed the woman nude while she was changing clothes that night.

The girlfriend told investigators she found the recordings in the phone’s deleted photos folder.

Investigators said the videos appeared to have been recorded through a small opening.

A forensic examination later determined the recordings were made through a small opening in a window.

Detectives also said neither Apolinar’s girlfriend nor the woman ever looked toward the window, indicating they were unaware they were being recorded.
