The 2026 Texas Rangers weren’t really able to figure out why the ball didn’t fly as well as they’d like it to at Globe Life Field.
The Globe Life Field dimensions are 407 feet at center field, with the deepest distance at the park being 410 feet. At The Ballpark in Arlington, the center field fence wasn’t as far back. But I do think the Rangers, without being able to really figure out why the ball doesn’t fly as well as they’d like it to at Globe Life Field, I do think that the only solution to getting more slug for this team might be bringing the fences in a few feet.”
Grant said he wasn’t sure whether five or 10 feet would be the right distance to bring them in, though.
