Homicide investigation (Houston Police Department)
HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating and looking for a suspect after they say a homeless man died after being assaulted by another man in southwest Houston Tuesday.
The incident happened in the 10800 block of S. Post Oak Road.
According to Lt. Larry Crowson, the victim was walking in front of a business when he was approached by another man, who then assaulted him.
The victim fell to the ground and the suspect fled the scene.
Police say the victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation is underway.
