Suspect at large after man stabbed outside Northeast Side restaurant, police say

SAN ANTONIO — A man was hospitalized after a disturbance outside a business escalated into a stabbing Friday night, police said.

The incident happened around 8:04 p.m. on the 12100 block of O’Connor Road, outside a DeeWillie’s BBQ restaurant.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, a suspect caused a disturbance with an employee outside the business. The confrontation escalated, and the suspect stabbed the victim before fleeing.

Police said the suspect later reentered the building before leaving the area.

The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries. The person’s condition was not immediately known.

The suspect remained at large.
