FORECAST
RAIN STARTS WINDING DOWN
After several days of gloomy skies and scattered rain, South Central Texas is finally beginning the transition toward quieter weather as drier air begins filtering in. That will help push the lingering moisture away and bring rain chances to an end by Monday.

Despite the clouds, temperatures will manage to climb a little higher Sunday, with most locations reaching the upper 70s to lower 80s. Because plenty of moisture remains in place, scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm will remain possible, with rain chances generally ranging from 10% to 20%. The best opportunity for rain will favor areas closer to the Coastal Plains
FINALLY FEELING LIKE FALL
The start of the brings a pleasant shift with more sunshine, lower humidity, and highs in the low-to-mid 80s. Drier air will lead to cooler mornings, with lows in the upper 50s in the Hill Country and low-to-mid 60s elsewhere, creating a refreshing, fall-like feel.

WATCHING THE GULF
The National Hurricane Center is monitoring a 30% chance of development in the Gulf over the next few days. While some weather models show tropical development is possible as the system drifts northward, forecast models currently differ on how it might evolve later this week. It is too early to focus on specific scenarios or local impacts, so there is no need to worry just yet. However, we are keeping a close eye on it, so stay tuned for updates!
