A glut of SEC teams changed places in this week’s AP Top 25 college football poll, the top five teams held steady: Texas at No. 1, followed by Georgia, Notre Dame, Miami and Ohio State.

The Longhorns, who were idle this week, received 61 first-place votes from the media voting panel, one less than last week. Georgia was the only other team in the top five to receive first place votes after beating Vanderbilt 38-14. Defending champion Indiana, ranked No. 7, received one first place vote.

The big riser was Missouri, which blew out the then-No.8 Florida Gators 45-17 at home on Saturday. The Tigers jumped 11 spots to No. 14, leapfrogging a stretch of three one-loss SEC teams in the middle of the poll.
