AUSTIN, Texas — With Election Day less than a month away, voters across Texas are weighing which issues matter most as they head to the polls.

For voters 50 and older, affordability is the top issue, followed by immigration and Social Security and Medicare, according to AARP.

Younger voters could also play a key role this November, according to political scientists, as campaigns work to reach Texans of all ages before early voting begins.

Election Day is Nov. 3.
