HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A man and woman were found shot and killed outside of a north Houston home on Monday morning, according to the Houston Police Department.
HPD said officers responded to the 900 block of Lindale Road just after 8:30 a.m. after reports of gunfire in the area.
Officials said that once officers arrived, a man and woman were found shot in front of a home.
Houston police said they believe the shooting stemmed from a possible domestic violence incident. According to HPD, officials would like to speak with a driver of a red Ford Focus seen parked in front of the home that later left the area.
HPD said this is an active investigation and that canvassing is underway. Police are asking residents if they have any video footage of the incident.
This is a developing story and will be updated once additional details become available.
