HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A 1-year-old girl is in critical condition after being found unresponsive in a bathtub on Sunday night, police said.
Police said it happened after 8 p.m. on Sherman Street in East Houston.
Officers said paramedics performed CPR and were able to revive the child, who was then taken to the hospital.
The girl’s mother and an 8-year-old sibling were home at the time, police said.
Police said they’re still investigating what led up to the near-drowning.
