DALLAS (KDAF) — Chipotle Mexican Grill is opening five new locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth area by the end of the year.
Four of the five new restaurants will feature a Chipotlane, a drive-thru pick-up lane designed for digital orders. The expansion includes new restaurant locations in Dallas, Ennis, Lewisville and Corsicana. All five restaurants will operate daily from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Dallas-Fort Worth locations will offer two limited-time menu items: Pollo Asado and Chili Lime Chips. Pollo Asado consists of freshly grilled chicken seasoned with garlic, Mexican spices and hand-cut cilantro, finished with citrus and lime. Chili Lime Chips feature fresh tortilla chips seasoned with lime and chili peppers.
The locations will also feature a high-protein menu with items containing between 15 and 81 grams of protein. Options include entrees such as the Double High Protein Bowl and the High Protein-High Fiber Bowl, snacks such as the High Protein Cup and Single Chicken Tacos starting at $3.50. Customers in the area can also order customizable Family Meals or sign up for the Chipotle Rewards program. New members who enroll in the rewards program receive free chips and guacamole with a purchase.
The opening schedule for the five new locations begins this week and extends through the end of the year. The location at 3407 Canyon Bluff Blvd. in Dallas opens Tuesday, Oct. 6, followed by the location at 391 N. Sonoma Trail in Ennis later this month.
Locations at 1131 FM 407 in Lewisville and 671 W. Illinois Ave. in Dallas are scheduled to open next month. The final location at 3826 W. State Hwy 31 Bus in Corsicana is scheduled to open before the end of the year.
