Texas football and Florida will meet again for an SEC clash, but it’s the rare morning kickoff.
The Longhorns announced that the game will start at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17 on either ABC or ESPN. It is the first game that Texas will have at Royal Memorial Stadium in nearly a month.
Last year, Texas opened SEC play at The Swamp for an afternoon start time. The Longhorns had a rough trip and two fourth quarter interceptions from quarterback Arch Manning contributed to the 29-21 loss.
Before Texas plays Oklahoma, the Longhorns have to play rival Oklahoma at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Cotton Bowl.
