The Olympic champion figure skater from Plano and her pro partner Pasha Pashkov have consistently been among the highest-scoring couples on the reality TV dance competition. This week, the duo looks to keep their positive momentum with a rumba to Mariah Carey’s “Hero” for “Mariah Carey Night” on the show.
Ahead of the Tuesday night performance, Glenn was active on social media with behind-the-scenes videos of the pair rehearsing their dance or otherwise joking around in between shows.
“This dance is really, really hard,” Glenn says in one video where she’s hunched over with her hands on her knees.
Glenn also used her platform to encourage people to tune in for the show and vote to keep her run going.
Glenn and Pashkov have consistently improved their scores week to week, going from an 18/30 in week one to 21/30 to 24/30 the past week with a foxtrot to “Hold the Line” by Toto. Their score last week is the joint-best performance of any couple and their 63 points overall are joint-best with Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson.
Dancing with the Stars airs Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. and streams on Disney+. Episodes are available to stream on Hulu the next day.
