Movement analysis

With tons of byes in the area, there wasn’t a ton of room for movement in the local rankings.

The main changes came in Class 5A, as Fort Worth Wyatt took down White Settlement Brewer, a team that previously ranked higher than the Chaparrals. With the win, Wyatt jumped up two spots, while Brewer stayed at No. 6.

Mansfield Summit fell, with District 4-5A teams impressing as a whole. One of those squads is Fort Worth Paschal — the Panthers have struggled in district play but have given Wyatt and Heights tough games.

The only other change came from Grapevine Faith Christian, who stunned Southwest Christian, handing the Eagles a lopsided 56-35 loss. As a result, the Faith Lions surged to the No. 4 spot in the area private school rankings.
