EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — City officials are reminding residents not to enter floodwater at Eastwood Park, also known as Album Park, as it could contain harmful bacteria and chemicals.

This week’s heavy rains and flooding caused damage at several local parks.

Crews had to block off an area of Blackie Chesher Park after floodwater washed away part of a walking path and lifted sections of the sidewalk.

Scenic Drive also remains closed after heavy rains caused damage along the mountainside.

City officials are also reminding residents to report potholes and any other flood damage in their neighborhoods by calling 311.
