E. 44th Street shooting (KPRC 2)
HOUSTON – An investigation is underway after a person was found shot to death in the Independence Heights area of Houston.
The scene is located at 218 E. 44th Street, just off N. Main Street and near Crosstimbers.
Houston police say they were called to the location around 2:25 p.m. after getting a report of a person laying on the ground. They arrived and found a person dead with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Other details are limited at this time. Police are at the scene investigating.
