Texas football returns from its by week just in time to go up north to Dallas for the Red River Rivalry.

The Longhorns (4-0, 1-0) didn’t play last week after beating Tennessee 20-17 in their SEC opener. Now, No. 1 Texas is preparing to meet unranked Oklahoma for the 122nd time after the pair first played in 1900.

Oklahoma (2-2, 0-1) showed great promise at the start of the year after holding a preseason ranking of 10th and the addition of former Longhorn wide receiver Parker Livingstone. Since his transfer, Livingstone has not recorded a single touchdown and has 51 yards on six receptions. Last season year, leading up to the game, he had three touchdowns and 308 yards on 15 receptions for Texas.

The Sooners also had a week to prepare for the game following a 41-13 loss to Georgia.
