Secretary of War Pete Hegseth says the execution of Nidal Hasan by firing squad will be public, and available to view via livestream.
The former Army doctor killed 12 soldiers, one civilian, and an unborn baby in November 2009 at Fort Hood in Texas.
Hegseth told media outlet Human Events “We’ll make sure that people are able to watch it, that it’s public, because people need to understand that there’s serious consequences for these types of things.”
Hegseth recommended death by firing squad for Hasan, and President Trump approved the method.
Hasan is set to be executed on December 3rd.
