LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Paws of Change, a Lubbock-area 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to keep animals off the streets and out of shelters by providing resources, education, and advocacy, invites the community to its Harvest Market on Sunday, October 11, from 12:00–5:00 p.m. at Rockin T Estates in Ropes.
Rockin T Estates is an emerging neighborhood in Ropes ISD about 6 minutes from the community of Ropes accessible via paved roads. It consists of 5 acre lots, 16 remaining for sale.
The family- and dog-friendly friendly fall event will feature more than 40 local vendors, food trucks, music, a mechanical bull, a free pumpkin painting station for kids and trick-or-treating at vendor booths. There is also free admission and parking.
Proceeds from the Harvest Market will benefit Paws of Change’s programs, including its Community Pet Pantry, upcoming Spay & Neuter Voucher Program, and other initiatives focused on preventing animal homelessness before it happens.
Paws of Change will have its own booth selling goodies, and many of the vendors are donating a percentage of their sales from that day, so shop small and support local while helping this nonprofit succeed.
Since Rockin T Estates is not fully established, there are not any street addresses to refer to for directions. If you are using Apple Maps please type in “Rockin T Rd,” and if you are using Google Maps, please type in “Rockin T Estates Residence” for directions. There will also be signage the day of to help attendees navigate.. Also please visit our events page on the Paws of Change Facebook for coordinates to the harvest market.
