Former head coach Kathryn Gilreath led the team for 10 of those titles.
The program’s early championships came during years when Wylie’s team tennis was not governed under UIL, but the team was still considered the best program in the state for many years and remains one of the best now.
Wylie also has won 36 state individual titles. The program set a mark in 2013, when it won all five divisions “a record no one else in any classification has accomplished.”
Coach Gilreath shared that this season’s roster includes Hope Willis, the two-time reigning girls singles champion, who is a senior this year.
Wylie opens the 2026 playoffs in the bi-district round against Lubbock High, with the match scheduled in Sweetwater.
