One person was killed after their vehicle crashed and fell off Texas 121 in Grapevine early Friday, Oct. 9, police say.

A driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Texas 121 in Grapevine early Friday, police said.
The accident occurred in the 700 block of Texas 121. According to police, the car left the road in the center median and hit the guardrail. The vehicle fell about 35 feet and landed near the railroad tracks.
The driver died at the scene, police said. The individual will be publicly identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Some lanes were temporarily closed right after the accident, but the highway didn’t entirely shut down, according to police.
The cause of the fatal crash is under investigation.
