At the October 6 Plano ISD Board of Trustees meeting, the board had the privilege of recognizing outstanding Plano ISD staff, leaders and community members who exemplify excellence, dedication and the spirit of being Plano ISD Proud.
Nine Plano ISD campuses earned the prestigious National PTA School of Excellence.
This national recognition shines a spotlight on schools that go above and beyond to welcome all families, support every student’s success and build strong, inclusive communities. These campuses join an elite group of schools across the country that are leading the way in family engagement and partnership excellence. This accomplishment is a direct reflection of the outstanding work of campus leaders, staff, PTA members and families who partner each day to create vibrant, supportive learning environments. By earning the National PTA School of Excellence recognition, these campuses have demonstrated a deep commitment to aligning programs and practices with the needs of their school communities. Their success exemplifies our district’s dedication to empowering families, strengthening school culture and ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Texas PTA President-Elect Melinda Samberson and District PTA representatives were present to show their support for this tremendous honor.
