North Texas’ familiar summer heat may creep back this weekend, with temperatures reaching the low-90s.
North Texans attending the 2026 Texas-Oklahoma game Saturday may feel a slight breeze, with wind gusts potentially hitting 10 mph.
Dallas-Fort Worth will also be under an air quality alert Saturday due to the presence of ozone, which could be unhealthy for sensitive groups.
North Texas’ weather will remain warm and dry through at least Tuesday, according to the weather service. Daily high temperatures are forecast to reach the low-90s, with mornings staying relatively warm in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
However, more seasonal weather could be on its way to North Texas, thanks to a developing cold front that is forecast to bring lower temperatures and increased rain chances later next week.
