The restaurant will be at 325 S. Cedar Ridge Drive and will offer the chain’s full menu, known for its pizzas featuring creative combinations of ingredients.

Founded in Dallas by Khanh Nguyen, Zalat Pizza has grown from its first location to 22 restaurants in D-FW, two in Austin and six in Houston.

Nguyen first opened DaLat Vietnamese in 2012 at 2537 N. Fitzhugh Ave. in Dallas.

When a space next to his restaurant became available, Nguyen decided to open a pizzeria that would stay open late for people who work late, such as restaurant and service industry employees. That was the first Zalat Pizza, and it opened in 2015.

The Duncanville restaurant will be the chain’s 30th location.

“We obsess over the pizza because if the pizza isn’t great, none of the rest matters,” said Nguyen, CEO of Zalat Pizza, in a statement. “Great ingredients, people who care, and the freedom to be a little weird. That’s Zalat. As we grow, we’re not going to lose that.”

The company also introduced a refreshed visual identity, including a new logo, an updated website and the tagline “Worth It.”

“‘Worth It’ names the promise behind the ingredients, the recipes, and the signature on the box,” the company said in a statement.

Zalat is known for its specialty pizza menu, including pies such as the Pho Shizzle, with chicken, red bell peppers, red onions, Hoisin and Sriracha swirls, fresh basil and cilantro; the Pineapple Express, with bacon, pineapple, crushed red pepper, jalapeños, teriyaki and cilantro; and the Drunken Masterclass, with salami, Italian sausage, pepperoni, red onions, jalapeños and black pepper.

Zalat Pizza will open on Oct. 12, 2026, at 325 S. Cedar Ridge Drive, Duncanville. zalatpizza.com.
