A 23-year-old man was found dead after a shooting downtown early Saturday morning, the San Antonio Police Department announced.
Officers were responding to a shooting in progress in the 200 block of College Street around 1:43 a.m. when they found the man with gunshot wounds and pronounced him dead.
SAPD has not publicly identified the deceased man.
Officers located a suspect vehicle and detained several individuals for questioning. There is an active, ongoing investigation into the incident.
