The sound of cheers, police sirens and fire truck horns spilled over Ballpark Way on Tuesday as Arlington honored veterans in its annual Texas Veterans Day Parade.
The Arlington community and government officials gathered to honor veterans. The event featured performances from bands and spirit groups from high schools across Arlington.
Arlington Mayor Jim Ross attended the parade and presented an award to Rex Tillerson, the parade’s grand marshal and former U.S. secretary of state.
The event concluded with a drone show and live music.
