Robert Joe Flores, 64, passed away Monday, Oct. 5, 2026. Rosary: 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, 2026, in Mount Olivet Chapel. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Robert was born on Sept. 23, 1962, in Oscoda, Michigan, to Pedro and Irene Flores. He grew up in a military family and moved to military bases throughout the United States and in Germany. After his father retired from the Army, their family returned to Fort Worth, where Robert attended M.H. Moore Elementary School, Meacham Middle School, and then graduated from Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School, where he played drums in the school band. After high school, Robert attended Texas State Technical College in Waco, Texas. Robert was a faithful member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Fort Worth. After his ALS illness, he could not attend Mass, but that did not stop him from faithfully watching online services from his bed. His faith in the Lord never wavered through it all. Robert is survived by his parents, Irene and Pedro Flores; his beloved wife, Virginia Flores; his sons, Robert Flores, Mark Flores and his wife, Gabby, and Pedro Flores and his fiancée, Jackie; his daughters, Monica Flores and husband, Tim, and Veronica Fennell and husband, Markus; his sister, Isabel Flores Cain; his brothers, Raymond Flores and wife, Dee, and Charles Flores and fiancée, Linda; his grandchildren, Adrian and Abby, Vanessa and Olivia, and Antonio and Andrew; his great-granddaughter, Eevee; his aunt, Mary Duarte; along with many nieces, nephews, family, and cousins.
