Movement analysis
Keller Central fell down one spot to No. 4, as the Chargers were upset by Haslet Eaton in Week 7.
Central didn’t fall down the entire ladder, as it greatly struggled with turnovers. That’s a huge issue that should be addressed, but in terms of firepower, the Chargers are still dangerous against most Class 6A teams.
With another strong win and an undefeated record, Arlington Martin moves up to No. 3 in the area.
With an impressive win over Byron Nelson, Keller moved up one spot to No. 7. The Indians’ high-scoring offense will now face its toughest test in Southlake Carroll, the No. 2-ranked area squad.
Haltom and Weatherford move into the top ten with crucial district wins over Hurst L.D. Bell and Arlington Lamar, respectively.
No movement occurred in Class 5A, Class 4A or the private school realm. A few squads lost but with teams competing out of area or against tough competition, none of it justified any changes.
