Creating art and building community
For 35 years, Art From the Streets has provided free studio space, art supplies, mentorship and opportunities for people experiencing homelessness to create and sell their artwork.
Artists of all experience levels are welcome, with workshops and opportunities to explore different techniques and creative styles.
The organization also provides outreach five days a week at local shelters and navigation centers.

More than 2,000 original pieces to discover
The 35th annual Show & Sale takes place October 17–18 at Blue Genie, featuring everything from smaller works to large canvases, with artwork starting around $35.
Visitors can also shop merchandise including T-shirts, stationery and calendars featuring artists’ creations.

“I think the best part of it is that 95% of the sales go back to our artists,” Laura explained.
