A 19-year-old said he was shot and injured during an attempted robbery in Arlington on Tuesday, according to police.

The man arrived at the Medical City Arlington emergency room about 3:30 p.m. with a gunshot wound to the arm, police said. Hospital staff notified police, and officers responded to the hospital to talk with the injured person.

The 19-year-old couldn’t name the location where the attempted robbery occurred, according to police.

“Officers also spoke to another individual who was reportedly with him during the shooting,” police said. “That individual was also vague with details and could not provide a location.”

The man’s injuries are not life-threatening, according to police. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
