ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington women’s basketball team is set to return to the College Park Center for its 54th season under seventh year head coach Shereka Wright.

Below is a list of all the promotional games and giveaways.
Blue Out – Tues., Nov. 3 (v. Sacramento State)
Help turn College Park Center blue as the Mavericks open their home schedule. Fans are encouraged to wear their best blue and bring their Maverick pride to create an electric atmosphere. Rally towels will be available as a giveaway.
HRL Night – Thurs., Nov. 5 (v. Lamar)
In partnership with UTA Housing and Residence Life, join us for HRL Night at College Park Center! Bring your residence hall spirit, connect with fellow Mavericks and cheer on your Lady Mavs basketball team.
Alumni Day/Homecoming – Sat., Nov. 14 (v. LSU-Shreveport)
Celebrate Homecoming with UTA Women’s Basketball as we welcome Maverick alumni back to campus! Reconnect with fellow Mavericks, show your school pride and cheer on the team as we celebrate the traditions and community that make UTA special. Fans will receive a UTA mini foam finger giveaway.
Girl Scout Night – Sat., Dec. 12 (v. Stetson)
Calling all Girl Scouts! Join UTA Women’s Basketball for a fun-filled night of basketball and Maverick spirit. Bring your troop, cheer on the Mavericks and enjoy an opportunity to make lasting memories with each other.
Crazy Sweater Night – Sat., Dec. 19 (v. FGCU)
Celebrate the holiday season at College Park Center with Crazy Sweater Night! Break out your most festive, funny or outrageous holiday sweater and enjoy an exciting night of basketball and holiday cheer.
She Can Be – Wed., Jan. 6 (v. Abilene Christian)
Celebrate the power of possibility at She Can Be Night with UTA Women’s Basketball! Join us as we recognize the importance of empowering girls and women to dream big, pursue their passions, and see themselves in the leaders and role models of tomorrow.
White Out – Sat., Jan. 23 (v. Austin Peay)
Let’s turn College Park Center white! Wear white and bring your loudest cheers as we rally behind the Mavericks for an unforgettable home-court atmosphere.
Game Show Night/FSL Night/Faculty & Staff Appreciation – Wed., Jan. 27 (v. West Georgia)
Get ready for an entertaining night of basketball, game-show excitement, and Maverick pride! We’ll celebrate UTA’s fraternities and sororities while recognizing the faculty and staff members who make our university community thrive. Join us for a night of competition, appreciation, and Maverick spirit.
Salute to Service – Sat., Jan. 30 (v. North Alabama)
UTA Women’s Basketball proudly honors the brave men and women who serve our country and communities. Join us as we recognize military members, veterans, first responders, and other service personnel for their dedication and sacrifice while cheering on the Mavericks. Lapel pins will be available as a giveaway.
Play4Kay – Sat., Feb. 13 (v. Central Arkansas)
Join UTA Women’s Basketball in supporting the fight against breast cancer during Play4Kay! Help us honor survivors, remember loved ones, and raise awareness for breast cancer research while celebrating the strength and resilience of those impacted by the disease. Founded in memory of legendary NC State women’s basketball Hall of Fame coach, Kay Yow, who fought the fight of breast cancer for 22 years, Play4Kay raises awareness and supports cancer research.
Black Out/Celebrating Black Excellence – Wed., Feb. 17 (v. Eastern Kentucky)
Wear black and join UTA Women’s Basketball as we celebrate Black excellence, culture, leadership, and achievement. Be part of an inspiring night recognizing the contributions and impact of Black individuals in our community and beyond while cheering on the Mavericks. Black t-shirts, sponsored by American Campus, will be available as a giveaway.
National Women in Sports Day – Wed., March 3 (v. Tarleton State)
Celebrate the achievements and impact of women in sports with UTA Women’s Basketball! Join us as we recognize the athletes, coaches, leaders, and trailblazers who continue to inspire the next generation and shape the future of women’s athletics.
Senior Day – Sat., March 6 (v. Little Rock)
