TxDOT announces weekend overnight closures at Loop 1604 and I-10 interchange on the Northwest Side – October 15, 2026 (550 KTSA)
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The Texas Department of Transportation will close frontage roads at Loop 1604 and Interstate 10, along with the eastbound I-10 main lanes, for overnight bridge construction this weekend.
The closures are scheduled from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, October 16, through Monday morning, October 19, weather permitting.
All flyover ramps will remain open, but drivers should follow posted detour signs and allow extra time. Truck and oversize vehicle drivers on eastbound I-10 will need to follow a separate detour through Loop 1604.
