After two months of intense regular-season action and three exhilarating rounds of postseason play, the top players and teams in Texas high school tennis are ready to compete in the fourth round of the UIL playoffs.
The regional quarterfinals round of the Class 4A-6A UIL Team Tennis Playoffs will feature 96 schools and are set to begin with first-round action Thursday-Saturday, Oct. 15-17.
Regional tournament action for Class 4A and 6A squads will be hosted at the Rose Park Tennis Center in Abilene on Thursday and Friday. Class 5A teams that reach the regional tournament will compete at Wichita Falls Legacy High School the same weekend.
The Lone Star State’s top team tennis squads will meet for the UIL Team Tennis State Tournament on Wednesday-Thursday, Oct. 21-22, in San Antonio.
