LUBBOCK, Texas — This week on Talking Points, KAMC’s Jen Phillips spoke with Dr. Margaret Durham, Democratic District 84 Congressional candidate, about what inspired her to start her campaign journey, including her background in education and public service.
Later, Jen Phillips sat down with Sarah Simpson, a Lubbock mom and advocate, to speak about Proposition A, which would raise the district tax rate by three cents to support schools around the South Plains.
KAMC’s Grace Gates later explored what Texas Tech basketball player Donovan Atwell’s temporary injunction really means, and what his next steps are.
