The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting in the Stratmoor Hills area on Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies are on scene in the 4400 block of Millburn Drive, where the shooting is said to have happened. The unincorporated area is in between B Street and South Academy Boulevard on the south side of Colorado Springs.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the shooting just before 2:45 p.m.
According to Peak Alerts, the Sheriff’s Office issued a shelter-in-place order for a quarter mile radius at 1:51 p.m., but the order was lifted minutes later.
