HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A shooting is under investigation after it left two people injured in northwest Houston on Thursday night, according to police.
The Houston Police Department said it responded to the 8000 block of Grow Lane and found a man with a gunshot wound to his ankle and a woman with a gunshot wound to her upper left arm.
HPD said the victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators said they learned that the suspects, along with a group of people, came to the location to confront another group.
That’s when police said an argument ensued and got heated.
HPD said the suspects fired rounds into the group of people, injuring the two victims. It’s unclear what the argument was about.
Police did not specify how many suspects were involved but said they are still at large.
