LITTLEFIELD, Texas (KCBD) – The Slaton Tigers (5-3, 2-0) proved to be one of the strongest (and fastest) teams in its district Friday night with a 56-35 win at Littlefield (6-3, 1-2).
Tiger RB’s Ryan Ruiz and Jayven Lovato both turned in explosive TD’s in the win.
Slaton will look to stay unbeaten in district next Friday when they host the Muleshoe Mules before they travel to Idalou in week 11 for what will likely be the district championship. Littlefield will be off next week before traveling to Roosevelt.
