Now that the El Paso heat is simmering down, “Blessed Beans” and “Sip” Coffee are ready, welcoming the weather and customers with their new fall menus.
These local businesses have released their seasonal fall menu items and are excited to share them with the community. With items containing pumpkin, apple, cinnamon and more, both businesses explain the preparations and work they put in to make customers fall experience like no other.
Local and mobile coffee shop, “Blessed Beans,” is located in Clint, Texas and was started by Madison Arrieta and Marcus Juarez. For their October seasonal menu, a few of their favorites include a caramel apple latte and matcha, pumpkin cold foam chai and a pumpkin spice latte with cold foam.
The business says they prepared their fall menu for about two months, making their own homemade syrups with organic pumpkin puree, spices and organic sugar.
“The organic products we use in our syrups make our drinks taste more real, giving items more flavor,” Juarez said.
Arrieta and Juarez placed themselves in their customers’ shoes when coming up with flavor ideas to help with their creation process.
“When making our drinks we go based off of the season and think to ourselves, as a customer’ what would I want to drink during this month? And then we create our flavors based off on that,” Arrieta said.
Juarez and Arrieta say that they spend months in advance coming up with names, design and flavors for their menus while maintaining business for that set month.
While a new fun menu has been released for the month of October, they are also celebrating their business’ one-year birthday with the release of a birthday cake flavored latte and matcha.
“Sip”, a newly opened coffee business on El Paso’s west side is run by owner Daniela Marquez. “Sip” makes their own jellies and homemade syrups and offers drinks such as pumpkin matcha and chai tea. While these are flavors that can be purchased in many coffee shops, “Sip” prides themselves on their special, limited time calabaza cup. Marquez says the calabaza cup is her favorite on the fall menu as she says the cup is unique and like no other.
While Marquez is happy to share her creations with the community, she has also created a welcoming environment for her “Sip” customers by decorating the front of her shop with hand painted pink pumpkins so customers can stop by and take fall photos. She says she wants the community to stop in to “Sip” for great service and to get their hands on the hand-picked calabaza cups she has for this month.
