Nashville, Tennessee-based Hamilton Development plans to construct a $57.7-million warehouse and office project in the Walsh development.
In its first Texas project, Hamilton is building an approximately 1 million-square-foot warehouse that will include 6,000 square feet of office space. The project began construction on Oct. 15, according to a state filing, and is expected to be complete in the third quarter of 2027.
The building has already been leased, but Hamilton did not say who will occupy the space. The building will be the first of two to be completed in Walsh Industrial.
“We are pleased and honored to work with the Walsh family on this unique site as we begin this fast-track project,” Whitfield Hamilton, CEO of Hamilton Development, said in a news release.
Hamilton Development acquired 60 acres within the Walsh master-planned development in Fort Worth for the project. Located off Bentley Bridge Drive and Interstate 20, the site sits within a 2,500-acre section of the 7,500-acre Walsh community designated for office and industrial use.
“Our development team at Walsh has focused for many years on creating a world-class industrial park south of Interstate 20 that will ultimately encompass more than 20 million-square-feet of industrial space,” Ryan Dickerson, CEO at Walsh Companies, said in a news release. “The project with Hamilton Development is an exciting start to the Walsh industrial park, and the next phase of significant value creation for the region.”
