Another lengthy wait for fight fans in North Texas will soon come to an end.
For the first time since 2022, the UFC is returning to Dallas as American Airlines Center is set to host “UFC Fight Night” on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2027, the organization informs The Dallas Morning News.
A main event announcement will come at a later date, and tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Nov. 20 at Ticketmaster.com. Fans can register for presale access at UFC.com/Dallas.
The last UFC event held in Dallas was “UFC 277: Pena vs. Nunes 2,” which took place in front of 19,442 fans on July 30, 2022. Amanda Nunes defeated Julianna Pena via unanimous decision in the main event to recapture the UFC women’s bantamweight championship.
UFC 277 still stands as the highest grossing single-night event in American Airlines Center history.
