LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Some furry friends found new homes in the Hub City Saturday afternoon, thanks to the Scoggin-Dickey Subaru annual pet adoption event.
Twenty-two pets were adopted last year, with hopes to exceed that total this year.
Multiple shelters attended, bringing several cats and dogs in search of a loving home.
“We invite many local shelters, from Lubbock County and outside, you know, Levelland, Plainview, whoever wants to partake and they come over here and we try to find homes for all these worthy animals,” Matt Patterson with Scoggin-Dickey said.
Scoggin-Dickey has hosted the event for the past 13 years.
