After an expedition to a remote island failed to solve the mystery of Amelia Earhart’s disappearance in 1937, UTA Special Collections is highlighting materials from our collections that reference the famous aviator.
On display are materials from UTA Special Collections relating to Amelia Earhart and her disappearance. Including a map of the projected pacific route and a map of the pacific archipelago which she disappeared in, pictures of her and her family, and a book chapter describing her ongoing legacy.
The mini-exhibit is free and open to the public, located at the front of Special Collections in the Central Library 6th Floor Atrium.
