This weekend could almost be … hot?
The temperature highs are expected to climb to the mid-80s this weekend in North Texas, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office. It’s uncharacteristically toasty for mid-November in D-FW, when the temperature would usually be expected to peak closer to 67 degrees.
Thursday and Friday should also be quite warm, with highs around 80 degrees.
Overnight lows also are expected to be higher than normal. Minimum temperatures are expected to be in the low 60s this weekend compared to a normal of the mid-40s.
D-FW Weather Wise
Next week brings the possibility of rain and a cool-down, but the system has been slow moving, delaying the return of seasonal temperatures, NWS said.
Until the precipitation moves in, the end of the workweek and weekend should be sunny, with some gustier breezes possible.
