EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Chamber announced Jorge Ojeda, Founder and
President of HAWK Construction, is the new chairman of the Board of Directors.

Ojeda will be taking over for former Market VP of Nusenda Federal Credit Union, Shawn Ollis, effective Oct. 27.
Ojeda has been a Chamber member for 18 years and has served on the Chamber’s Board of Directors since 2022, according to a news release.
Officials said Ojeda will bring firsthand expertise in opportunities and challenges that face local businesses, helping guide the Chamber’s work on behalf of its members.
“I’m honored to step into this role and to build on the strong foundation Shawn and the
board have established,” Ojeda said. “I look forward to working alongside our members,
partners, and staff to keep El Paso a place where businesses thrive.”
Ojeda’s commitment to the El Paso business community has left a lasting mark on the organization, and the Chamber looks forward to his continued partnership, officials said.
“Shawn has been a steady leader for this organization and for our business community,” Ricardo Mora, President & CEO of the El Paso Chamber, said. “We’re grateful for his service, and we’re excited to welcome Jorge into this role. His leadership and deep ties to El Paso will help carry our momentum forward.”
Members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors said they thank Ollis for his dedication, his time, and leadership.
