SAN ANTONIO – Minor injuries were reported after a rollover crash on Interstate 37 on the South Side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

The crash happened just before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 15000 block of southbound I-37, near Southton Road.

According to a preliminary report, a 27-year-old driver was traveling southbound in the second lane at a high rate of speed when he attempted to change into the first lane. The vehicle clipped a second vehicle driven by a 52-year-old man, causing a collision.

Due to the speed and impact, police said the first vehicle lost control and rolled over into the center median.

The investigation is ongoing.
