There’s a new reporter at WFAA-TV.
Nikiya Carrero announced earlier this week that she’s joining the Dallas-based station after spending the last three years at CBS News Miami (WFOR-TV).
“I have joined the news team at WFAA in Dallas as a reporter! Super ecstatic to join such a legendary station and continue my career as a journalist,” Carrero wrote on Instagram.
Carrero is originally from Miami and graduated from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida.
She began her career at KX News in Bismarck, North Dakota, and later worked at WJCL-TV in Savannah, Georgia. After that, she returned home to join CBS News Miami.
