The district placed the campus on a hold during the investigation. During a hold, students stay in their classrooms and hallways are kept clear. Classes continued, and school officials said there was no immediate threat to the campus.

Police later gave the all-clear, and students returned to their regular schedules.

Officials have not shared the extent of the student’s injuries or whether the student in custody faces charges.
