A GoFundMe has been set up for the family of the North Texas woman who police say was kidnapped and killed by her estranged husband on Thursday.
Bianca Ramirez was kidnapped at gunpoint by her estranged husband, Axel Ramirez, at an apartment complex in Burleson after the mother returned from taking her child to school on Thursday morning, according to police. After a high-speed police chase that lasted over 30 minutes, Axel Ramirez shot and killed Bianca Ramirez, before shooting himself, Burleson Chief Billy Cordell said at a news conference.
“Bibi’s [Bianca’s] life was so much more than the tragedy that took her from us. She was deeply loved, she had dreams she worked tirelessly to achieve, and she leaves behind a legacy of compassion and resilience,” the GoFundMe stated.
The couple had two daughters, a 9-year-old and a 14-year-old. They are now being taken care of by extended family.

Bianca Ramirez, 34, had recently achieved her dream of becoming a nurse and earning her bachelor’s of science in nursing after years of working as a patient care assistant.
“She had a generous heart, a caring spirit, and a genuine passion for helping people. Nursing wasn’t simply her career. It was her calling,” the GoFundMe stated.
