The Moontower Comedy Festival is gearing up for its 14th year in Austin with the first wave of its 2026 lineup. The festival, known for bringing stand-up heavyweights and rising comics to stages across downtown Austin, will run from April 8 to 19, taking over more than 10 venues, including the Paramount and State Theatres.
This year’s early lineup features more than 75 names, with more to come in future announcements. Badges are available now at moontowercomedyfest.com or through the Paramount Theatre box office. Individually ticketed headliner shows go on sale at noon on Thursday.
Headliners for 2026 include Albert Brooks in conversation with Kevin Pollak, Leslie Jones, Marc Maron, Kathy Griffin, Vir Das, Jeff Arcuri, Cristela Alonzo, Brad Williams and British podcast duo Shxts N Gigs. Also joining the slate are breakout comics René Vaca, Zachariah Porter and Nish Kumar, along with the improv musical group Off Book.
The festival’s Club Series will again spotlight both national acts and Austin’s homegrown talent, with appearances from Caroline Rhea, Debra DiGiovanni, the Sklar Brothers, Beth Stelling, Shane Torres and dozens of local performers including Andrew Murphy, Angelina Martin and 2025’s Funniest Person in Austin winner, JJ Curry.
Festival badges grant access to the four-day comedy club series (April 15–18), after-parties, and presale access to headliner shows. Badge prices increase on Jan. 8. Prices for badges start at $150. Headliner shows are individually ticketed.
