San Antonio music venue Stable Hall is partnering with live music and media company Dayglo Presents for its booking, as well as food and beverage operations.

This announcement comes months after the venue ended its contract with Dallas-based music and entertainment company Wood Hall. The company filed a lawsuit alleging breach of contract and Stable Hall filed a countersuit.

Dayglo Presents owns and operates venues across the country, including the Brooklyn Bowl and Capitol Theatre in New York. The company is owned by Peter Shapiro, a concert promoter and venue owner.

According to a press release, Hannah Gold will lead efforts to bring bands to Stable Hall.

“We’re planting our flag as a haven for San Antonio’s finest bands and artists as well as a must-play venue for national and global acts,” Gold said in the statement.

The 950-person venue at Pearl was opened in 2024 after serving more than a century as a stable for Pearl Brewery’s draft horses. In September, Stable Hall named a new general manager, Garrett Zimmerman.

The new GM said he wants to bring in local and family-friendly acts that connected to San Antonio’s history and the local Hispanic music scene.

In 2024, Stable Hall hosted Black Pumas, Shakey Graves, Ghostland Observatory and Portugal. The Man.

In March, the entertainment company Wood Hall sued Stable Hall in Civil District Court, alleging the Pearl-based venue cut ties with Wood Hall and violated its contract. Wood Hall helped start Stable Hall in 2023 and operate the venue.

Stable Hall officials said in a counterclaim that Wood Hall lost the venue $2.5 million during its 10 months working at the venue.

Court records show the lawsuit is set for a jury trial in November 2026.
